Overseen by Michael Di Gregorio-Rifiorati, video game designer and teacher at the Inter-Dec College, the changes make it possible to meet the ever-changing needs of the video game industry.

Highly respected in the domain, the Inter-Dec College’s courses are being enhanced with an additional semester.

In doing so, the Inter-Dec College’s VFX and Video Game Design School is maintaining its place at the industry’s leading edge by actively meeting workforce needs.

One major addition is the introduction of virtual reality (VR) to the program. As a result, the Inter-Dec College is the first school in the Montreal area to integrate virtual reality into its video game courses.

Students also have the opportunity to create their own game as a team during a full semester dedicated to simulating a professional production.

These improvements will be accompanied by name changes in order to better represent the content of the programs.

"Level Design", intended for students who want to become level designers or game designers, thus becomes "Game and Level Design".

As for ACS in "Video Games", it will now be offered under the name "3D Creation for Video Games".

As Michael Di Gregorio-Rifiorati points out: "We’ll take your video game education to the next level!"
