This past August 8, students graduating from the Artistic Makeup - Master Class program presented their creative makeup accomplishments before a jury of industry personalities.

Taking place at the end of every term, jury day highlights the end of a journey, while at the same time eliciting valuable feedback on portfolios.

Directed by teacher Jacques Besner and photographer Colombe Boileau, the jury was made of an impressive panel of judges:

  • Vanessa Ashley (Teamm Agency)
  • Laurie Deraps (Teamm Agency)
  • Matthew Richard (senior artist at Sephora and talent relations at Make-up Forever)
  • Stéphane Côté (senior trainer at MAC Cosmetics)
  • David Vincent (head makeup artist at Lise Watier)
  • Michel Cloutier (photographer and teacher at Inter-Dec College)
  • Geneviève Dubé (founder of MUSST Cosmetics)

Students graduating from the Master Class, an intense program enabling students to acquire specialized skills in the art of makeup, were invited to show their portfolios, display their concepts and inspirations as well as talk about their experiences at Inter-Dec College.

Once again, the judges were blown away by the quality of the students’ work. The decision-making process was no easy feat, but ultimately the following three winners were chosen:

  • 1st place: Philippe Bertrand-Hudon
  • 2nd place: Marie-Soleil Massicotte-Plante
  • 3rd place: Sophie Tremblay

Congratulations to our graduates!
