The Inter-Dec Beauty departments extended network with industry leaders exposes students to great opportunities to participate in professional make-up sessions and photo shoots, giving them immediate industry experience.

Artistic and technical makeup artists are in high demand and this advanced training in the beauty industry will increase your access to exciting projects. As a graduate, you will be able to work in entertainment, in fashion, on television and movie sets.

Artistic Makeup - Fashion and Beauty Makeup* module 1 is a prerequisite for this course.

To be considered for admission to a program leading to an Inter-Dec College Diploma, you must present your curriculum vitae or a letter of intent.

Fashion & Beauty is a pre-requisite

  • Master makeup techniques and apply them to the entertainment industry;
  • Plan, organize and research a professional project and photo shoot;
  • Produce a professional portfolio fit for the industry.

Inter-Dec College Diploma

  • Full time students will complete a program in one semester (66 in-class sessions over a 15 week period);
  • Part time evening students will complete a program in two semesters (66 in-class sessions over a 15 week period);
  • Total of 330 hours (66 x 5 hours) of training.

On the first day of class, the teacher will provide you with a detailed list of the required materials for the semester and then help find the best deals.

  •   Courses are offered in English and French

Your portfolio will consist of 4 pictures from the Stage & Special Effects Techniques program and 4 pictures from the Master Class program. Please note that the Fashion & Beauty program does not offer a portfolio. Additional fees apply.
