Hassan Aziz, born in Cairo and raised in Beirut, is a designer and multimedia artist who is well-known in the multimedia sector. He is, among other things, the creative director and co-founder of Dear Minds (a design studio) and Graphics eMotion (a new media arts company specialising in large-scale projection installations and immersive experiences), as well as one of our web design teachers at Inter-Dec College.
A graduate of UQAM’s School of Design, he has won many awards, including the Applied Arts Magazine award and an award from Dérapage, a non-narrative experimental film festival. He was among the first artists invited to collaborate with the Société des arts technologiques (SAT) and he has contributed to shaping the visual identity of several organisations related to Middle-Eastern heritage. Audiences could admire Aziz’s work via a conference that took place recently at the UNESCO Palace in Beirut, TEDxBeirut - Reawaken Fascination , in which he spoke about his passion: awakening an audience’s fascination through 3D animation creation.
