Annie Rossano
Program: Professional Photography

It was at age 16, when, during an extracurricular activity, she discovered photography, especially the dark room and all its exploratory aspects: photograms, solarisation and screens which made her fall in love with photography.

After some studies in photography and graphic design, she worked both in photography for Transcontinental and the Bibliothèque Nationale du Québec and in animation for Astraltech and then ToutenKartoon, where she worked as a digital colourist for cartoons such as Caillou, Bob Morane, The Fly and Family Pirates.

Three years ago she started teaching photography at Inter-Dec College. ''In addition to teaching my students technical concepts about photography, I try to expose them as much as possible to other photography-related aspects, hoping to push the boundaries of their skills.''
