After spending three years studying aesthetics, cosmetics and perfumery in the south of France, where I had the opportunity to learn makeup basics and complete several internships with MAC Cosmetics, I discovered a new passion for makeup and decided to make it my career. I got started by working with a few photographers in France, but I quickly realized that I lacked certain basic skills and that I needed to gain confidence.
I chose to enroll in the Artistic Makeup – Fashion and Beauty course at Inter-Dec College to further develop my knowledge about fashion makeup. The courses truly met my expectations and I learned many techniques and the tricks of the trade. With the College, I had the opportunity to take part in many events, including fashion shows, which allowed me to build my C.V. and be fully prepared to enter the job market.
It’s important to realize that a makeup artist’s job is not the easiest one, but if you are confident in yourself and give it your all, there’s no reason you can’t succeed.
When I completed the artistic makeup course, I decided to stay in Montreal and take the master class to enhance my skill set and build my portfolio in the field that I love the most, fashion makeup and high fashion.
