Course Objectives

• To understand the inherent constraints involved when making a video game.
• To conduct documentary research and feasibility studies before embarking on a video game project.
• To create visual components that match specific goals.
• To write an interactive design document for a video game.
• To master the art of integration into a game engine.
• To create, choose and organize technical and audiovisual components based on stated objectives.
• To create and use interactive tools as part of a particular distribution channel.
• To understand and adhere to a product budget, methodology, calendar and monitoring.
• To know, understand and analyze the video game industry and its products.

Career Prospects

You’ll have the skills you need to work in video game design, management and production. You’ll be able to collaborate with teams working on video game design, simulations, cinematics, interactive productions, etc.

Attestation of Collegial Studies (AEC).

Duration

One year (three 15-week semesters). 960 hours total.
