An important player in video game development and animation education, Inter-Dec College will showcase the talents of its Digital Arts students at Spin 2009. Animation workshop
At the first Spin 2009 challenge, participants will need to create the walk cycle of a character based on its complete model sheet. The evaluation criteria will include originality, creativity and technical quality.
Concept Art workshop using a tablet
Students will work on a tablet and create a character based on a given theme. For this Spin 2009 challenge, students will also have ten minutes to write a text explaining their work method.
Modeling workshop
For this modeling workshop, students will attempt to sculpt the head of a character in low resolution. The topology, complexity, details and balance of forms are among the evaluation criteria.
Inter-Dec College counselors will also be on site to answer questions about the School and its programs.
