Course Objectives

• To create photo shoots for fields as diverse as fashion, makeup, coiffure, etc.
• To pinpoint which qualities to highlight in the subject
• To prepare the subject and arrange the composition
• To choose the appropriate equipment
• To exploit different lighting techniques and points of view
• To use and refine digital photography techniques
• To encourage visual and content research

Career Prospects

Photographers use digital or other formats and select various materials to capture images of people, events, scenes, materials and products. Through the play of colour, light, shadows, reflections and the angle of the shot, they strive to evoke particular characteristics of the subject.

Photographers can work as freelancers and have their own studios, or work for a studio, company or institution.

The equipment and software available at Inter-Dec College are in line with industry standards, allowing students to have a smooth transition into the workplace and succeed in their careers.
