Course Objectives

• To master cutting, collage, painting, drawing and faux fini.
• To design, plan and create sets and props for theatre, television, film, storefronts, displays and events.
• To do documentary research before starting a project and sketch out your ideas.
• To choose the appropriate media and colours.
• To create a visual framework for set production while juggling each production’s characteristics, the director’s goals and your budgetary and technical constraints.
• To analyze and create functional yet creative visual communications.

Career Prospects

You’ll be ready to plan and present products, designs, storefronts, displays, special events, in addition to sets and props for theatre, film sets and television studios.
